Saturday Skating Lessons: Beginner Level 1

$15If you’re brand new to skating, or need to brush up on your basics, then this is the class for you! At Skate 101, we’ll go over the fundamentals to make sure you’re rolling properly and safely. You’ll learn some techniques such as balance, falling safely, striding, stopping, bubbles, edges, and crossovers. We’ll also be incorporating some fun exercises with cones and hoops to apply what you’ve learned.
The class may begin in the carpeted lounge area before continuing in the mini practice rink.
We do beginner lessons every Saturday, so we invite you to join us as many times as you need until you feel confident and ready to join everyone on the skate canvas.
This Class is an additional add on fee of $15 to your regular entry fee of $17.12.
* You’re welcome to come early before your lesson and skate or stay after your lesson to practice until the session ends.
*There is a capacity limit of 15 participants for this class. We highly recommend you register ahead of time.
*Please note that safety equipment (ie. Helmets, wrists guards, knee & elbow pads) are not supplied for these lessons. If you feel you require safety equipment of any kind, please ensure that you bring it with you.
